Don’t Spare the Rod
Stair rods are a fantastic way of really showcasing a staircase. Whilst associated with more traditional settings, stair rods can also be very effective in a more contemporary home.
All of our stair rods are made from 12.5mm diameter solid brass. We have a range of finishes. Our standard finishes are polished, satin and antique brass and antique bronze. We offer a further five plated finishes – chrome and brushed chrome, polished and satin nickel, and pewter. Black is also available as a powder coated finish.
You can choose from six different finial ends – acorn, ball, beehive, castle, minaret or spear. Each finial is traditionally turned onto the rod using a lathe, delivering a high quality, long lasting finish.
All of our stair rods are made to measure, and cannot be adjusted at fitting, so it’s very important to measure accurately to achieve the best result. You can find out more about measuring in our guide: Stair Rods – Measuring and Maintenance.
